"I spent many long hours choosing a fine china pattern and an everyday china pattern. It turned out that right after I chose them (years apart) they became discontinued (an unfortunate trend). Without a company like Replacements, Ltd. I don't know that I could have the full china sets that I wanted. I'm not an avid garage sale/ antique mall shopper, so a company like Replacements, Ltd. was just what I needed to fill out my china and keep it stocked as family, friends (or I) accidentally broke a piece or two. It has made Christmas shopping easier for my family since they know that I always welcome a new piece of china as well.

I inherited some silver from my grandmother - Damask Rose by Oneida. I realized years later that Oneida came out with a matching stainless pattern. Of course just as I purchased a set it also became discontinued. I see that Replacements, Ltd. carries this now as well, yea! Now I know that if I accidentally turn on the garbage disposal on a teaspoon, I will be able to replace it.

My guess is that china will get used more because of Replacements, Ltd. since we hostesses will not be so paranoid that a piece might be broken. China was meant to be used!"
